Josie walked up front to see who was looking for her. Her next appointment wasn’t an older woman, so who could possibly be looking for her that fit the description? As she came through the curtain, she noticed Catherine standing near her station, and she wasn’t looking happy at all.

“There you are!” shouted Catherine. Josie looked un-amused.

“Here I am, Catherine. What can I do for you?” asked Josie, looking surprised.

“It’s not what you can do for me,” she replied, looking around the shop. “It’s what I’m about to do to you.” Josie shot a quizzical look at Catherine before moving towards her station.

“What do you mean by that, Catherine?” asked Josie, putting her hands on her hips.

“How about your marriage is a sham!” shouted Catherine. Josie looked confused.

“What are you talking about, Catherine? We were married by an ordained minister. We have all of the proper paperwork, and a legal marriage certificate,” Josie replied. Catherine started laughing.

“You dumb little girl! Levi was already married when you tied the knot. So technically, your marriage is a scam!” Josie reached into her pocket to get her cell phone, but thought about it for a moment.

“How do you know this, Catherine?” asked Josie inquisitively.

“Because I had the marriage certificate to prove that Levi is still married to Joann!” shouted Catherine. Josie looked un-phased as she crossed her arms in front of her.

“And…” said Josie with a smirk. Catherine was looking shook because of how Josie responded.

“What do you mean, And…” said Catherine, looking confused. Josie raised her hands up as she hunched her shoulders.

“What do you want me to say, Catherine? Do you have any proof of this so-called marriage?” asked Josie.

“I did! But Levi poured wine on both me and my mother right before he snatched the marriage license off the table,” said Catherine, looking perplexed. “And I know this maybe hard to believe coming from me. But I promise you… I’m telling the truth!” The sound of Catherine’s voice gave Josie some inclination to believe her story.

“And if this information is true, Catherine. What do you want me to do?” Josie asked, looking defensive. Catherine saw she wasn’t going to get the response she wanted.

“I don’t want you to do anything, Josie. I just thought you should know,” said Catherine, looking defeated.

“Oh! You had some kind of an idea. That’s why you’re here, isn’t it?” asked Josie. “I mean, you barge into my shop making a scene looking for me. Then you blurt out my business to my employees and their customers. I mean, there has to be something. Did doing this make you feel better since Levi dumped wine all over you?”

“And my mother,” added Catherine. Josie raised her hands in the air.

“…and your mother.”

“I don’t care if you don’t believe me, Josie,” snapped Catherine. “But I just thought you should know that your marriage is a sham! And you’re not really married to Levi!”

“Again Catherine! What do you want me to do? Cry or something?” asked Josie smirking. “I
